The purpose of this message is to inform you that we have already begun to work on Optica 2007, International Festival of Video Art. Optica ' s aim, organized by the cultural collective Interferencias, is the promotion of audiovisual culture. The Festival will take place in the city of Gijon (Asturias, Spain) from November 16th to 18th . For further information about the last edition, consult www.opticafestival.comOptica 2007 is divided into different sections: independent artists, galleries, documentary section, meetings with artists, performances and parties.  Optica Festival offers the opportunity of presenting new video works by emerging and established artists. The participation is through invitation and it is free of charges. If you ' re inside the world of the video art: independent artist, gallery owner, institution, curator..., it would be a pleasure to be able to count on your participation in our programme. To that end, we ' d like to invite you to submit a proposal for this third edition.  The deadline for receiving works is 29th of July.
