A hand full of (very) old surviving Buddhist monks of Mongolia
are accumulators
of the secret spiritual traditions and lineages and
of held back historic knowledge of the extinction
of Tibetan Buddhism some 70 years ago.
As an accumulator they have stored the wisdom or ceased it.
Some cells of the batteries are dead already.
As an accumulator delivers its energy regardless to anything
connected, they may use their knowledge
for the secular as well as for profane interests.
And they do so.
Choboi Lama, 86 years old, practises Choed, a Tibetan ritual
of Sacrificing the Ego, symbolically of his own body,
day by day, night by night.
The document presents an entire ritual in its shortest
version. As far as non-initiated lay man may see it.
It quotes the essential text passages, but does not show the secret
practices on cemeteries. These I saw also, but I would never show.
You don't do that as a Buddhist.
They are depicted in works of art perfectly.
Es gibt noch eine Handvoll alter Tibetisch-buddhistischer Moenche
in der Mongolei, die das alte spirituelle Wissen und die Traditionen
aus der Zeit vor der Ausloeschung der ‘Religion’ (ab 1930) durch die Sowjets
kennen und wie Akkumulatoren gespeichert haben. Oder nur noch halbaufgeladene oder tote ‘Batterien der Erinnerung’ besitzen. Und wie ein Akku seine Energie an alles,
was angeschlossen ist, abgibt, ohne Wertung,
so setzen sie ihr Wissen fuer profane wie fuer spirituelle Zwecke ein.
Choboi, 86 Jahre alt, praktiziert noch/wieder das tibetische Ritual Choed,
das die Selbstaufgabe des eigenen Koerpers zum Ziel hat,
das Abschneiden des Ego speziell.Tag fuer Tag, Nacht fuer Nacht.
Das Dokument zeigt das Ritual in seiner kuerzesten Version
(ca. 35 Min., es gibt auch achtstuendige).
Soweit man es als Nicht-Initiierter sehen kann. Es zitiert die wesentlichen Textpassagen der Visualisationen, aber es zeigt nicht die geheimen Teile auf Friedhoefen.
Die hab ich auch erlebt, aber darueber spreche und die filme ich nicht als Buddhist.
Die werden in Kunstwerken deutlich.
