NURTUREart ARTIST REGISTRY

All emerging visual artists committed to developing their professional careers are invited and encouraged to join our Artists Registry. There are no fees to participate and all complete submissions following the guidelines will be accepted.  Only artists with exclusive commercial gallery representation are ineligible. While NURTUREart cannot guarantee inclusion in future exhibitions, the Registry is in constant use, providing excellent exposure for participating artists.

A minimum of 50% (frequently many more) of the artists participating in  the exhibits in the NURTUREart Gallery are selected by Emerging Curators directly from this Registry. The goal of the NURTUREart Registry is to foster a serious, high quality, broad and varied image bank useful to both our Emerging Curators and independent curators, organizations, gallerists and collectors of all kinds searching for many different types of art and artists for their projects.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Please follow our guidelines below to insure that your materials are filed properly within our registry.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THE REGISTRY IS BOTH DIGITAL AND ANALOG. PLEASE SEND ALL THE REQUESTED MATERIALS BELOW.

•  PRINTED RESUME:  Include all contact information, exhibitions, education, awards, and grants, etc.

•  PRINTED ARTIST STATEMENT:  A clear and focused explanation of your creative process, concepts, and/or materials that will offer viewers a fuller understanding of your work

•  CD ROM:  Include up to 20 jpeg (.jpg) or tiff (.tif) images, and word (.doc) or text (.txt) files of your resume, biography, and statement.  Images should be no more than 800 pixels in either direction.  Also include a word or text file with a list of images and specifications (title, medium, size, date) for the images.

• 4 PRINTED COLOR IMAGES of your work on 8.5” x 11” paper.  Each printout should include your name, title, medium, size, and date of creation.

 *PLEASE NOTE:  All submitted materials should include complete contact information of the artist (name, address, telephone, and email).  If you have a last name hyphenate or middle name, please specify how you would like your information filed.
